Edmund Rice Centre WA
The Edmund Rice Centre has a proud history and an on-going commitment to assist people from refugee and migrant backgrounds, as well as Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.
Crime Stoppers WA, the Edmund Rice Centre WA and Edith Cowan University developed an Ethical Leadership program for young and emerging leaders in culturally and linguistically diverse (CaLD) communities. The aim of the program is to:
Empower young leaders to find their voice and influence cultural mindsets that encourage the concealment of criminal activity. This is achieved by providing young leaders with knowledge, and a safe and appropriate platform for the expression of their message.
This is a valuable community partnership which strengthens the trust between these emerging communities and Crime Stoppers WA. It forms part of Edmund Rice Centre’s program which places particular emphasis on young people and youth leadership as a way of ensuring a positive future for all.
