All secondary schools in WA are invited to participate in the Crime Stoppers free, curriculum-based graffiti prevention competition for students in Years 7, 8 and 9 during term 3.

The aim of the Graffiti Action Challenge is for students to create and design practical solutions for limiting graffiti and raising awareness of the important role that everyone can play as a citizen to reduce graffiti vandalism and associated anti-social behaviour.

The student winners for each of Years 7, 8 and 9 will receive $600 cash, PLUS their schools will have the opportunity for an Urban Artist to conduct a workshop at their school, create a mural/urban art piece at their school, or design and transform a community site. All entrants will receive a special participation certificate.

Teachers are invited to enter individual students, multiple students or an entire class, and students are also able to self-enter the competition.

Entries are invited at any time between 20 July and 25 September. Submissions will be judged and prize winners notified early in term 4. Further details about the competition are available in the For schools section of this website.
