At around 2.00am on Sunday 30 August 2020 a group of people were reportedly acting aggressively and being abusive towards random people at a food outlet on Murray Street in Perth.

One woman in the group has thrown a bottle at another woman who was sitting nearby. The woman has then lunged at the woman, grabbing her hand and causing pain to her fingers. The people in the victim’s company have managed to free her from the woman’s grasp.

Shortly after the woman returned without being seen and grabbed the victim’s hair from behind. The woman pulled the victim’s hair repeatedly, causing the woman’s head to hit a metal pole multiple times.

The group of people have then fled the scene in a taxi.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
