At about 14:45pm on Saturday 3 June 2017 a man was at a shopping centre on Wyatt Road Hocking in a vehicle.  Two men approached him and removed the car keys from the ignition and attempted to steal his mobile phone.  A stuggle between the three men and the victim occurred during which he was punched to the eye and was dragged from his vehicle.


A security guard intervened and the men fled in another vehicle, a white Toyota Carolla hatchback.


As a result of the assault, the victim received a fracture to his eye socket requiring surgery.


A man has been captured on CCTV and his identity is sought to assist Police with their inquiries.


The man is described as:  Tanskinned, medium build, approximately 185cm tall, short dark hair shaved on the side with a Mohawk on top.  He was wearing a dark coloured long sleeve top, long pants and thongs.
