At approximately 3.15pm on Thursday 20 April 2017, a woman and a man approached the service desk of a supermarket on Great Eastern Highway Midland.

 

While the man purchased a packet of cigarettes from the shop attendant, the woman saw a trolley load of goods next to the service desk.  The trolley was stacked by staff ready to be delivered as part of their home delivery service.

 

Whilst the staff member got the cigarettes, the woman grabbed the trolley and pushed it away without being noticed.  The man finished his purchase with cash and walked away in the same direction as the woman.

 

Police have released CCTV images of a woman and a man who they believe can assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as:  Tan skinned, 25-35 years of age, medium build and long brown hair.  Wearing a white T-shirt and long dark pants.

 

The man is described as:  Tan skinned, 30-40 years of age, thin build and short dark hair.  Wearing a dark coloured polo shirt.
