At approximately 5.50pm on Thursday 8 June 2017, a white coloured Mazda utility pulled up at a service station on Guildford Road Bayswater.

A man got out of the car and began filling up with premium unleaded fuel.  After filling the tank, the man put the nozzle back on the pump, got back in the car and drove away without paying for the fuel.

Investigators believe the same man and vehicle have been involved in several similar petrol drive offs at the same service station over the last several months.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as:  Light skinned, 40-50 years of age, medium build, short grey hair, wearing a black polo shirt, blue jeans and a light coloured peaked baseball cap.
