At around 1.35pm on Thursday 17 June 2021, a man entered a liquor store on Railway Parade in Bassendean and selected three cans of beer placing them down the front of his trousers. When asked if he needed assistance by a staff member, the man has replied that they didn’t have what he was looking for.
The man then exited the store without paying for the cans of beer.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: medium build, fair skinned, black / blonde short hair, between 25 to 35 years of age with a thin moustache and goatee. He was wearing a dark coloured hat, grey hooded NY jumper, grey cargo pants with black and white sneakers.
