10,000 firearms in 10 weeks

More than 10,000 firearms were surrendered in the first 10 weeks of the WA Government’s voluntary firearm buyback scheme.

This included 1,043 handguns, 2,521 shotguns and 6,466 rifles which are now removed from the Western Australian community and will enhance public safety.

In this artwork it also represents our community today working together to keep our neighbourhood safe from crime.
