2024 Community Crime Reporting

A big thank you to our proactive communities for your ongoing support and vigilance!

In 2024, we received over 60,000 contacts—that’s an average of 165 reports every day! This includes both online reports (65%) and phone calls (35%), showing how people are embracing digital technology to stay connected.

Your commitment to sharing what you know is making a real difference. The #1 crime type reported was alleged drug dealing—a serious issue affecting so many neighbourhoods.

Together, we’re helping police prevent, disrupt, solve and reduce crime, making our communities safer for everyone.

Let’s keep it going in 2025—if you see or know something, don’t hesitate to report it. We want your information, not your identity.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.

Working Together by DuShong

The artwork titled ‘Working Together’ represents the Aboriginal tribes of Western Australia working together in harmony to rejuvenate the land by controlled fires.

In this artwork it also represents our community today working together to keep our neighbourhood safe from crime.
