At around 6.10pm on Thursday 5 September 2024, the victim working inside a retail store on Karrinyup Road in Karrinyup was speaking to a group of youngsters who were creating a disturbance in the electronics section. When another staff member approached the group to assist, a female from the group threw a boxed item at that staff member which struck her shoulder. The same female walked up and punched this staff member while another female from the group punched the other staff member, before the group ran from the store.

Police have released CCTV images of two females who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The first female is described as: tan skinned, slim build with long brown hair tied back into a pony tail. She was wearing a black hooded jumper, black track pants and thongs.

The second female is described as: tan skinned, slim build with long highlighted brown hair. She was wearing a matching black and white tracksuit jumper and pants.
