At around 12.30pm on Monday 16 September 2024, a man is seen on CCTV enter a gift store on Murray Street in Perth and walk up to a display of wooden boomerangs painted with Aboriginal art. The man selected three boomerangs from the display and placed them under his jumper before he walked out of the store without making any payment.
Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with dark brown hair and a tattoo visible on the outside of his right lower leg. He was wearing a blue and grey ‘Everlast’ hooded jumper, red, white and blue shorts with black sneakers.
