Perth Police are seeking public assistance in relation to an incident that occurred in King Street on Wednesday 7 May 2025.

About 7:30am, the victim was driving along St Georges Terrace and attempting to turn right onto King Street when a cyclist, riding at speed, crossed in front of the vehicle.

This sudden action triggered the vehicle’s automatic collision control system.

The cyclist became agitated and began following the car onto King Street, where he stopped in front of the vehicle and began yelling abuse at the driver.

He then punched the vehicle’s right-side mirror, causing more than $4,000 in damage, before leaving the scene.

Police believe several members of the public were in the area at the time and may have witnessed the incident.
