Kensington police are seeking assistance with a stealing incident that occurred along Rutland Avenue, Lathlain on Sunday 7 July 2019.
Between 1am and 8am on Sunday, two women have stolen a phone that had been left in a ride-share service vehicle.
The owner of the phone sent the message asking anyone who finds the phone to return it, and received a response demanding $200 for the phone to be returned.
Police have released a CCTV image of two women who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The first woman is described as fair skinned with a large build and was seen wearing a black singlet, black pants and sunglasses.
The second woman is described as fair skinned with a medium build and was seen wearing a green shirt and khaki pants. She had tattoos on both arms.
