Around 3.30am, a woman finished work at a nearby business and walked to her vehicle. As she walked towards her car, a woman began assaulting her, causing the victim to fall to the ground. She had her hair pulled, face punched and held to the ground. The victim was able to get away and return to her place of work and police were called.

 

As a result of the assault the victim received cuts and bruising to her arms and torso.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as: Light brown skinned, around 20 years of age, solid build, around 175cm tall and brown long hair. She was wearing a white top under a blue denim jacket and blue jeans.
