Pamela Henry, Chair

Associate Professor Pamela Henry is a senior academic in the School of Arts and Humanities at Edith Cowan University.

She has developed an extensive body of research in policing focused on integrity, use of information management systems, human source recruitment and management, use of force, policing those experiencing mental illness, and the effectiveness of police operational deployment models.

Pamela is a member of several university committees, and her work has been recognised with numerous awards.

Liam Roche, Deputy Chair

Liam is an experienced business leader and board member who retired from the role of Chief Operating Officer of Seven West Media (WA) following a 40-year career in the media and manufacturing industry.

Liam fulfils roles on numerous not-for-profit and health service industry boards.  He is currently Chair of the Perth Eye Foundation, Deputy Chair of MSWA, a director of the South Metropolitan Health Service, a director of the Western Australia Board of the Medical Board of Australia and serves as an advisor to the Murdoch University Emerging Leaders Program.

Recognised as an exceptional mentor with the skills and experience to lead, Liam has the ability to influence and motivate individuals and teams to perform at their peak.

Peter Harris, Director

Peter has more than 35 years’ experience in media, corporate and government communications.

He was a journalist, State Government media adviser and then Managing Director of public relations consultancy, PPR WA Pty Ltd, for almost decade, later being appointed an Executive Director of PPR Australia.

He grew PPR’s WA business to be the Number 1 agency in WA from 2000 to 2016, before establishing Peter Harris & Associates in 2017 and most recently, Gravitas PR, in September 2025.

He is a member of the Communication and Public Relations Australia (CPRA) and a long-time Board Member of Crime Stoppers WA.

Jarrod Greenwood, Director

Jarrod brings fresh thinking and innovation to over 30 years of marketing and communications experience spanning both client and agency environments.

His expertise encompasses advertising, media strategy, brand strategy, integrated marketing,  strategic communications, digital marketing  and visual storytelling through content development. With a particular emphasis on brand strategy, Jarrod excels at translating complex challenges into compelling, actionable solutions.

He spent 13 years in the public sector with the WA Police Media & Public Affairs Directorate before transitioning to the private sector and then launching his own consultancy, Sixteen By Nine, in 2020. 

Jarrod has served as a board member of Crime Stoppers WA since 2017 and chairs the organisation’s Communications & Marketing Committee.

Brad Royce, Alternate Director

Brad has extensive leadership experience in large organisations delivering outcomes in complex environments and is recognised as a strong advocate for his staff and the community. He is regarded as a leader in cultural change and strategic reform with a focus on systems.

He is a current Director of the Hero Hunter Foundation which provides practical support for families with a child undergoing cancer treatment and Director at Crime Stoppers Western Australia having recently stepped down as a Director on the Crime Stoppers Australia Board.

Shane Entriken, Director

Shane is a Partner and Senior Lawyer at Piper Alderman. He is frequently recognised in Doyle’s guide of leading lawyers. His area of expertise is in Employment, Industrial Relations, Health & Safety, Governance, Privacy,  Boards and Litigation in Courts and Tribunals. He acts as the general counsel for certain clients, has an expertise in executive remuneration and share schemes and conducts investigations into a range of sensitive matters including corporate crime and fraud.

He lecturers at Murdoch University in governance and legal strategy. He has held senior management roles in BHP and Downer, as well as being a Lawyer at Freehills. He has been a director of a cattle production business and a global resources, energy and agriculture investment fund. He is the co-author of a book on the management of fly in fly out operations.

Ben Harvey, Director

Ben has worked as a journalist since 1999. His early career at The West Australian included stretches of crime reporting and political journalism.

He worked in London for regional and national titles before returning to WA in 2006.

Since then he has held the positions of The West Australian’s news editor, chief of staff, state political editor and group business editor. In his current role as chief reporter he writes on a range of issues, including finance, politics and crime.

Janelle Baily, Director

Janelle has worked with the WA Police Force since 2019 and currently heads up the Data Science and Analytics division. This dynamic team is responsible for all the reporting and analytics of the agency’s data, focussing on enhancing capability by maximising the use of data to support front line policing and community safety.

Janelle has previously held positions in the education industry as an Assistant Dean, a science teacher and chemistry specialist and also managing different projects at various national science organisations.

Janelle joined the board of Crime Stoppers WA in 2022.

Arlene Mavratsou, Director

Assistant Commissioner Arlene Mavratsou has enjoyed an impressive career in law enforcement intelligence services across Australia and the United States. She joined the WA Police Force in 2020 as State Intelligence Assistant Director and has been acting in the role of Commander in the State Intelligence and Command portfolio since March 2022. Her promotion to the rank of Assistant Commissioner marks the first time a civilian police staff member has been appointed by the Governor to a commissioned officer rank in the WA Police Force.

AC Mavratsou will manage the restructure of WA Police Intelligence Services Division through service delivery, new tactical intelligence training, improved culture and the cross pollination of skills.

Tony Longhorn, Director

Assistant Commissioner Tony Longhorn currently heads the State Crime Portfolio, commencing the role in September 2022.

He began his career with the Western Australia Police Force in 1992. He has served in an operational capacity in a number of regional and metropolitan stations including Moora, Mullewa, Geraldton, Midland, Mirrabooka and Perth. He also served as a Detective in Regional Western Australia, Metropolitan Detectives and at specialist positions within the State Crime Portfolio.

In September 2019 he commenced as Detective Superintendent in charge of the Serious and Organised Crime Division before being promoted to the rank of Commander (State Intelligence), State Intelligence and Command Portfolio in December 2021.

Michael Roberts, Director

Michael is a CPA with over 25 years’ experience in finance and accounting. He has spent the last 18 years in the energy industry with broad experience encompassing the full spectrum of accounting, tax, audit, governance, human resources and strategic business systems development.

Michael is a board member, company secretary and the CFO of global energy advisors, RISC.

Chris Kempster, Director

Chris brings over 20 years of experience in the field of enterprise and business architecture. He has delivered proven and valuable architectural solutions and completed numerous IT reform and transformation activities to a variety of large organisations, such as WA Police, WA Health, Brightwater Group, Department of Education & Training, and Edith Cowan University.

As a natural leader, Chris’s engaging personality will bring a fresh and exciting team presence, along with a pragmatic approach to his project delivery.

Chris will join the Audit & Risk Committee to oversee our ISO-27001 alignment and continue protecting the services we offer.

Vince Hughes, CEO

Dr Vince Hughes has held senior public sector roles at the Public Sector Commission, WA Police, Corruption and Crime Commission and the former National Crime Authority. Prior to this he was a police officer in the Republic of Ireland.

Vince has published papers in the area of knowledge management and intelligence.

He was Chair of Crime Stoppers Australia from 2021-2024.

In this artwork it also represents our community today working together to keep our neighbourhood safe from crime.
