Crime Stoppers Day 2023

Crime affects all of us, but together we can make a difference. Crime Stoppers Day is a national, annual event which promotes awareness of Crime Stoppers and encourages community support. So, on Tuesday 22nd August 2023, we invite you to help make a positive impact in your community.

Your information matters

Crime Stoppers Day reminds us that information is power. Your contribution, no matter how small, can make a significant difference in promoting community safety. Crime Stoppers encourages you to report information about all types of crime and suspicious behaviour. Remember, your identity remains anonymous, empowering you to speak up without fear.

A quality tip to Crime Stoppers includes specific details such as names and addresses, dates and time, descriptions of clothing and accessories, vehicle information, physical characteristics, language or accent details, and any other relevant observations. Your keen eye and attention to detail could be the crucial piece that completes the puzzle.

Working together for safer communities

Crime Stoppers Day is more than just a date on the calendar; it is a call to action for everyone. We can all work together in the fight against crime and create safer communities. By sharing information with Crime Stoppers, you are an essential partner in this commitment.

Acknowledgement of Country

We acknowledge the traditional custodians throughout Western Australia and their continuing connection to the land, waters and community. We pay our respects to all members of the Aboriginal communities and their cultures; and to Elders both past and present.

Working Together by DuShong

The artwork titled ‘Working Together’ represents the Aboriginal tribes of Western Australia working together in harmony to rejuvenate the land by controlled fires.

In this artwork it also represents our community today working together to keep our neighbourhood safe from crime.
