Make a report

Attention If you are a victim of crime, such as burglary or car theft, please phone 131 444. Report stolen or damaged property online to WA Police.

The WA Local Government Association is helping us raise awareness of the Crime Stoppers anonymous reporting service and our status as a registered charity where we work in partnership with but independently from the police.

WALGA provides advice and assistance on government policy and legislation that impacts Local Government functions in various areas of community development, including crime prevention and community safety.

WALGA advocates on behalf of 138 WA Local Governments and negotiates service agreements for the sector.

WALGA is committed to advancing the vision for Local Government in Western Australia where:

  • Local Governments will be built on good governance, autonomy, local leadership, democracy, community engagement and diversity.
  • Local Governments will have the capacity to provide economically, socially and environmentally sustainable
services and infrastructure that meets the needs of their communities.
