Around 11.30pm on Saturday 26 September 2020, the victim was approached by a man who stated he had a flat car battery and needed a jump start. The victim got his vehicle, pulled up next to a white Holden sedan. A second male approached the victim and produced a knife, threatening him, before jumping into his vehicle, a silver Holden Club sport sedan and drove off. The white Holden sedan quickly followed.

 

The silver Holden was located burnt out in Quindanning a few hours later.

 

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The first man was wearing dark clothing and a baseball cap, the second man was wearing a dark top and blue jeans.

 

Detectives are asking for dashcam footage from the vicinity as well as any witnesses in the area at the time.
