Cannington Detectives would like witnesses to come forward in relation to a serious assault of a man on Wright Street Cloverdale on Wednesday 30 October 2019. Particularly people who were on the route 935 bus that was stopped at the bus stop near where the assault occurred.

 

Around 2.10pm, whilst walking on Wright Street near Abernethy Road, a man was assaulted by another man known to him in relation to an ongoing dispute between the two. The victim did not retaliate and continued walking and entered Faulkner Park on his way home. A short time later, the same male again approached the victim and punched him in face, causing him to drop some food he was carrying. The male picked up the food and walked from the area.
