About 6.45am, police responded to an emergency duress alarm activated inside a retail store on Barrett Drive.
It is reported that an unknown male – who was armed with a knife – entered the store, approached a female staff member, and demanded cash and store items before fleeing.
The unknown male is described as having a dark complexion, of medium to solid build, and was wearing dark clothing and a balaclava.
The female staff member was not injured.
As inquiries continue, detectives have released the below images which contains a male that may be able to assist with the investigation.
