Cannington Detectives are investigating an armed robbery that occurred at a supermarket on Preston Street in Como on Wednesday, 25 March 2020.


Around 10am a man entered the store and was seen to place energy drinks in his pockets and backpack. He was challenged by a staff member when he attempted to leave without paying for the items.


He then produced a small knife and threatened the staff member before leaving on a bicycle.


He’s described as light skinned, approximately 20-30 years old, short dark hair, clean shaven, with extensive tattoos on his hands. He was wearing dark pants and a dark jumper at the time.


Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
