Around 9pm on Saturday 11 January 2020, a wallet was stolen from a table at a premises on Stirling Street Perth. The owner of the wallet saw that his wallet was gone and also saw a male walking out onto the street. The victim and a friend followed the male and approached him in relation to his wallet. The victim and male pushed and shoved each other before the male produced a bladed weapon before leaving the area.

 

The male was last seen in the vicinity of the Perth Cultural Centre on James Street.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light brown skinned, around 25 years of age, thin build and dark facial hair. He was wearing a baseball cap, red coloured t-shirt, long brown pants and carrying a backpack.
