Strike Force Vulcan officers are investigating the cause of a scrub fire that occurred Warwick on Tuesday, 4 March 2025.

Emergency Services were called to the fire on Ellersdale Avenue about 3:30pm.  DFES extinguished the fire before it could spread to nearby homes and businesses.

Officers wish to speak to the person pictured, who is believed to have been taking photos in the vicinity of the fire, who may have information to assist them.

Strike Force Vulcan officers urge anyone with CCTV, mobile phone or dash-cam vision of the Ellerson Avenue between Erindale Road and Dugdale Street, between 3:30pm and 4:15pm, to upload the vision direct to them via the link:

Anyone with any information relating to this fire is asked to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or via www.crimestopperswa.com.au.   

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
