Strike Force Vulcan officers are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate three scrub fires that occurred in Huntingdale on Thursday, 11 December 2025.

About 12.50am, three fires were lit along a trail in bushland between Todd Place and Shearwater Way. Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) attended and were able to extinguish the fires before they could spread further into bushland and to nearby homes.

Investigators would like to speak to the person pictured who was seen riding a scooter around the area at the time the fires started. This person may have information to assist with the investigation.

Rewards of up to $25,000 are available for information that leads to the identification and conviction of an arsonist.
