Cannington Detectives are investigating a serious assault that occurred outside a retail premises on Albany Highway Cannington on Sunday 6 October 2019.

 

Around midday, a woman used a cannister to spray an unknown propellant into the face of a female store employee. The employee felt a sudden burning to her face and required medical attention.

 

The woman was seen leaving the scene in company with an older woman.

 

Police have released CCTV images of two women who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The first woman is described as: Light brown skinned, around 18 years of age, thin build and long dark hair parted in the middle and tied back. She was wearing a ‘Chicago Bulls’ grey hooded jacket, dark coloured leggings and thongs. She was carrying a grey coloured satchel bag.

 

The second woman is described as: Light brown skinned, around 30 years of age, solid build with brown hair tied up. She was wearing a white ‘Calvin Klein’ hooded top and dark long pants.
