At around 12.45pm on Wednesday 31 May 2023, a man boarded a bus on Albany Highway in Victoria Park being driven by the victim. Shortly after the bus set off the man started shouting out abuse towards the victim and approached the victim’s cabin demanding to be let off the bus. The victim said she would let him off at the next stop and as the bus came to a standstill the man spat at the victim with saliva striking her sunglasses and forehead.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, between 30 to 40 years of age with a black moustache and small goatee. He was wearing a black hooded jacket, black trousers with black runners.
