At around 4.00pm on Sunday 10 July 2022, the victim was sitting in the middle of a bus travelling on Banrock Drive in Ellenbrook. There was a group of three males sitting near the back of the bus with no other passengers on the bus. Suddenly a fifty cent coin struck the back of the victim’s head. The victim picked up the coin and threw it back at the group. The male with the large build approached the victim and spat in the victim’s face, before the group got off the bus.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tanned skin, large build, between 18 to 20 years of age. He was wearing a black jacket, black pants and a checkered cap worn sideways.
