At around 9.45pm on Sunday 25 September 2022, two groups of people who were involved in an altercation with each other inside a licenced venue on Beaufort Street in Highgate were ejected. As the victim was walking away from the venue a man from the earlier altercation ran at the victim and punched the victim to the side of the head causing the victim to fall into the roadway striking his head on the front of a taxi pulling up. A second man punched the victim while he was on the ground.

Police have released CCTV images of two men who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The first man is described as: white skinned, slim build, unshaven, with short dark brown hair and possibly speaks with an Irish accent. He was wearing a light blue dress shirt, dark coloured trousers with white shoes.

The second man is described as: light skinned, slim build, unshaven, with short dark brown hair. He was wearing a brown T-shirt, light blue jeans with white shoes.
