At around 4.15pm on Tuesday 1 June 2021, a group of youths were sitting and standing around a bench outside a shopping centre on Benara road in Noranda. A man approached and confronted the youths in an intimidating manner. As some of the youths started to walk away the man grabbed one of the youths seated on the bench and pulled him off the bench. The youths all scattered in different directions with one youth being chased by the man into the car park.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: fair skin, short, shaved hair with a moustache. He was wearing a dark coloured singlet top, black shorts and sneakers.
