Make a report

A man was in a taxi on Ceric Street Innaloo around 5.40am on Saturday 29 August 2020, when he began punching the driver. The man became aggressive when the driver declined his request to turn on the radio and allow him to smoke inside the taxi.

 

The man was seated behind the driver and began kicking the back of the seat, before punching the driver in the head from behind. As a result of the assault, the driver received cuts and bruising to his face and rib area.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light skinned, medium build with wavy hair. He was wearing a long sleeve collared shirt.
