At around 3.15am on Sunday 24 April 2022, the victim was leaving the train station on Connolly Drive in Butler when he and another passenger unknown to the victim were confronted by a group of men, also unknown to the victim. Suddenly one of the men struck the victim to the side of his face after which the group walked off. The victim attended the hospital due to a lot of pain and received treatment for a broken jaw.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: light skinned, slim build, between 18 to 25 years of age. He was wearing a black hooded jumper.
