At around 11.30pm on Saturday 17 April 2021, two woman were attending an event at the showgrounds on Graylands Road in Claremont when they were involved in an altercation with a man unknown to them. The man grabbed one of the woman by the throat before pushing her away.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: light skinned, solid build between 35 to 45 years of age wearing a dark coloured hooded jacket.
