Perth Detectives are seeking information regarding an incident that occurred in Burswood on Tuesday, 1 January 2019 in which a man was assaulted.

Around 6.30am, a 36 year old man left a nearby venue and was on the corner of Great Eastern Highway and Bolton Avenue when he was assaulted by several unknown people.

The victim received minor injuries to his face and arms.  The offenders stole his mobile phone, cigarettes and his glasses.

It is believed several people were in the area at the time, including several people at a nearby bus stop.  Police would like to speak to anyone who saw the incident or anyone who has dash-cam vision of the intersection around 6.30am.
