At around 2:30am on Saturday 20 August 2022, the victim exited a taxi outside a licensed premise on Great Eastern Highway in Burswood. While speaking to the taxi driver a woman unknown to the victim walked up and accused the victim of talking about her before punching the victim twice to the face. A man who was with the woman pulled her away and they both walked off.

Police have released CCTV images of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The woman is described as: brown skinned, medium build with short black spiky hair. She was wearing an olive green jacket over a light coloured T-shirt, light blue jeans, white runners with a black and white handbag slung over her shoulder.
