At around 9.45pm on Saturday 11 March 2023, a group of three males boarded a bus being driven by the victim on Great Eastern Highway in Rivervale. For the next six stops the group rang the bell to stop the bus, but never exited the bus and no other passengers exited the bus either. The victim stopped the bus and asked the group to exit the bus. As the group exited, one male turned and spat into the face of the victim.

Police have released CCTV images of a male who they believe may be able to assist with their investigation.

The male is described as: brown skinned, medium build with short black hair. He was wearing a grey long sleeved jumper, light coloured pants with black shoes.
