At around 11:45am on Thursday 28 January 2021 a man entered a store on Great Northern Highway in Midland.

 

The man went to the slushie machine and poured himself a slushie. He then went to the cash register where an attendant was standing. The man threw money at the attendant. The attendant asked the man not to throw money at him and the man responded by throwing his slushie at him. The slushie struck the attendant’s body and the man left the store

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: light skinned, large build, with short brown hair with a long piece of hair at the back. He wore a white shirt and black shorts.
