At around 12.05am on Sunday 30 October 2022, the victim was inside a licenced club on James Street in Northbridge making his way through the crowd of patrons to get to the smoker’s bar at the back of the club when he felt a punch to the side of his face. The victim turned to see a man he had never met before. The man pulled the victim to the ground and started kicking the victim until security staff arrived and stopped the assault on the victim who suffered chipped teeth and bruising to his face.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years old with brown buzz cut hair. He was wearing high-vis overall pulled down to the waist over a black singlet.
