At 3.40pm on Friday 14 February 2020, a man was with his daughter at a fast food restaurant on Jull Street Armadale. He spoke to a girl about her behaviour inside the restaurant and then sat down to eat his food. A male nearby, approached him and threw a plastic tray at the man, hitting him in the head which then bounced off him and struck his daughter.


Police have released an image of a male who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The male is described as: 16-18 years of age, thin build, brown hair wearing a light-coloured t-shirt and khaki long pants.
