At around 1.10pm on Monday 26 December 2022, the victim was walking to his gym on Karrinyup Road in Karrinyup when he was confronted by a man who accused the victim of abusing a friend of his on Instagram. The man attempted to grab the victim’s air-pod from his one ear then started swing a few roundhouse punches at the victim. One of the punches connected with the victim’s face before bystanders pulled the man away. The man was unknown to the victim.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: tan skinned, slim build, between 18 to 20 years of age with shoulder length wavy black hair, thin goatee and moustache. He was wearing a white t-shirt, black knee length shorts with white joggers.
