At around 10.00am on Saturday 4 December 2021, the victim and her 5 year old son were standing on the platform at the train station on Kensington Street in East Perth. A man who appeared agitated, walked directly up to the victim and her son and spat a large quantity of saliva at them that sprayed onto both the victim and her son and said, ‘Deal with that’.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: brown skinned, slim build, short black wavy hair with an unshaven appearance. He was wearing a black T-shirt with green shorts.
