Around 7.30pm on Saturday 19 December 2020, a woman in her late 60’s was at a petrol station on Leach Highway Myaree where she had a verbal altercation with the service station attendant.

 

A male customer inside the store got involved and spoke to the victim briefly before grabbing her by the arm and forcibly walked her towards the doors. Once the doors were open he placed his hand behind her neck and shoved her into the hard ground. The man left the store a short time later and the victim returned to her vehicle and called police.

 

The victim was taken to hospital by ambulance for treatment for her injuries.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: Light skinned, solid build with white short hair. He was wearing a light coloured shirt and dark coloured shorts.
