Around 6.20pm on Sunday 6 January 2019, a man was at a licensed premises on Marine Terrace in Fremantle when he was asked to leave due to his demeanour.
A security guard approached him and the man threw a bar stool away and then threw a punch, hitting the security guard in the face causing swelling and bleeding around his mouth.
Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.
The man is described as: Light skinned, large build, bald and has tattoos on his left arm. He was wearing a pink and green coloured polo shirt.
