The victim is a bus driver and aged in her 60’s. Around 12.30pm on Wednesday 7 August 2019, the driver stopped her bus at the Armadale Bus Station on Commerce Avenue Armadale.

A man got on the bus and walked past the driver without paying for a ticket. The bus driver informed the man that payment was required. The man walked back to be next to the driver and he spat directly into the bus drivers face. He then ran away.

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: Thin build, around 25 years of age with brown hair. He was wearing a purple shirt under a black jacket and long dark pants.
