At about 7.15am on Wednesday 26 March 2020 two Public Transport officers removed a man from a bus in Russell Street Morley.

 

While talking to the man at a nearby bench the man suddenly jumped up and punched one of the officers, hitting him in the head causing him to fall backwards. The man ran off.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: dark skin, medium build with short dark hair, wearing a red “Chicago Bulls” jumper and black and white shorts.
