Around 12.00am on Friday 29 May 2020 a man was walking along Safety Bay Road in Warnbro when he was approached by a group of young males.

 

The group asked him for a cigarette and when the man refused he was hit to the side of the face with an unknown object.

 

The impact knocked him unconscious and the man was treated in hospital for injuries a few days later.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The man is described as: mid to late teens, black t-shirt with a picture on the front, black pants, black shoes and a black cap, carrying a black bum bag.
