At around 4.30pm on Wednesday 22 June 2022, the victim was shopping in a store on Scarborough Beach Road in Innaloo when he was approached by a man unknown to him. The man started to verbally abuse the victim before suddenly throwing a container of sushi into the side of his face. The man and a woman he was with, ran off out of the store and disappeared.


Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.


The man is described as: light skinned, medium build, between 25 to 35 years of age, short brown hair with a thin moustache and beard. He was wearing a grey ‘Neovision’ T-shirt with black pants, white joggers and had sunglasses on top of his head.
