Midland Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance for information as they investigate an assault that occurred in Swan View on Thursday, 28 May 2026.
About 11.00am, the victim – a 17-year-old male – was walking in Talbot Road Nature Reserve when he was approached and assaulted by an unknown adult male, who was armed with an edged weapon.
The male is described as 40 to 50 years of age, tall, with a slim build and a grey mullet hairstyle. Investigators have released a composite image of a man they believe may be able to assist with their inquiries.
The 17-year-old sustained several lacerations during the incident and was later treated in hospital.
