At around 10.50pm on Friday 4 December 2020 a woman was causing a disturbance on a train heading towards Midland.

 

The woman was sitting at the end of a carriage and ranting at a high volume. This caused a disturbance to the passengers in her proximity, including a small child.

 

Another woman on the train asked the woman to stop yelling. The woman responded by approaching the woman and yelling abuse at her, before spitting twice on her face.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as: 18-20 years old, dark skinned, average build, with dark hair in a high bun. She wore a black shirt, blue jeans, black thongs and had a shoulder bag.
