At around 3.30pm on Saturday 2 July 2022, a man approached athe victim in a licenced premise on William Street in Northbridge and initiated a conversation about UFC fighting. When the victim stated his differing opinion, the man pushed the victim in the chest and kicked his left ankle. resulting in the victim falling to the floor. Security removed the male from the premise where he proceeded to walk off.

As a result of the assault, the victim received a large fracture to his left ankle, bruising to his left knee and a small laceration to his upper lip.

Police have released CCTV images of a man who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

The man is described as: white skinned, slim build, between 20-30 years of age, with dark hair and an Irish accent. He was wearing a green sweater over a blue shirt with blue jeans.
