At around 1.15am on Saturday 25 July a man and woman were ordering food at restaurant on William Street in Perth when another woman approached them.

 

She became verbally abusive and threw two punches at the man, the second of which hit him in the back of his head.

 

The man’s wife stepped in and was also punched to the head before the woman and her group left, walking towards a nearby train station.

 

Police have released a CCTV image of a woman who they believe may be able to assist them with their investigation.

 

The woman is described as: dark skinned, 18 to 25 years old, with black curly hair tied in a pony tail. She was wearing a black singlet top, bright orange skirt and black boots.
